The Challenge Clock is Ticking: Help Us Save Lives Before August 31!

Dog and cat lovers in Eastern Massachusetts are encouraged to adopt new pets at one of the League’s shelters in BostonBrewster and Dedham between now and August 31 to save lives and support the League’s efforts to win critical grant money from the ASPCA Rachael Ray Challenge.

We have less than one week to find homes for 400 cats & dogs!

The League is one of just 50 shelters across the United States participating in this challenge which helps find forever homes for puppies, dogs, kittens and cats, and offers the shelters a chance to earn critical grant money to fund future life-saving services.

“Take Me Home Today” Adoptathon

“Take Me Home Today” our final, shelter-wide, adoption event of the summer will be the last push to reach our adoption goal by August 31. Please help us empty our shelter by adopting today or by August 31! Staff and extended hours will help find the right dog and cat for you.

Animal lovers and pet owners not looking for a new addition can also help find forever homes for cats and dogs at the League’s shelters by sponsoring a portion of adoptions fees.

Adoption fee promotions, door prizes and other festivities planned for August 31st “Take me Home Today” Adoptathon. Free to attend, adoption fees may apply.

If you’re unable to adopt, please consider “Pawing” it Forward by sponsoring a portion of an animals’ adoption fee!
