You may enroll in a Boston dog training class below online or by phone. If you are registering multiple dogs, please be advised that each dog must have it’s individual handler.

Select a Boston Dog Training Class:
Beginners age 8–20 weeks, No dogs for class 1
Puppy Kindergarten is a fun class for you and your new puppy. Your dog will learn to sit, lay down, stay, to come when called and walk on a leash. Also included is time for puppy play and socialization. Class meets once a week for six weeks.
Age 4-12 months – Prerequisite: PK or GM
Advanced Puppy is a fun class for continuing your puppy’s education. Your puppy will continue to learn a variety of different things by incorporating what you’ve learned in Puppy Kindergarten while upping the distractions. Though your puppy is getting older (and bigger), intermediate puppy continues to include play and socialization, to help your little one continue to be friendly with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Class meets once a week for six weeks.
Beginners age 5+ months, No dogs for class 1
Does your dog jump all over people? Walk you instead of the other way around? This is the class for you. Your dog will learn to stay, down, recall, heel, and polite manners. Class meets once a week for six weeks.
Advanced Good Manners
Age 5+ months – Prerequisite: PK or GM
A six-week course designed for dogs who know all of their basic obedience commands with distractions. Level II obedience or the equivalent required. Help your dog learn off-leash commands while they maneuver through obstacle courses. Class meets once a week for six weeks.
Canine Good Citizen
Prep. for AKC’s Good Citizen Certificate. Prerequisite: PK or GM
Ever wish that your dog could bring joy to those who need it most? The ARL’s Canine Good Citizen training course can train your dog to take the first step in becoming a therapy dog! This six-week course focuses training on real-life scenarios, such as dog-to-dog greetings, walking through a loud crowded space, and grooming/handling by strangers. At the conclusion of the class, your pup will have the opportunity to complete and pass the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen Test for which they will receive a CGC Certificate, which is recognized as the goal standard for dog behavior. Let your well-mannered pup earn that gold star that he or she deserves. Class meets once a week for six weeks
Sniffing for Fun
Age 6+ months – Prerequisite PK or GM
Great for all ages – even seniors! Dogs have an amazing sense of smell why not tap into their natural ability to hunt? The class is to have fun with your dog and build their natural ability to hunt and find food, objects and toys. It’s a great way to build your dog’s confidence and burn energy mentally and physically. Class meets once a week for six weeks
Sniffing for Fun – Level 2
Age 6+ months – Prerequisite PK or GM and Sniffing for Fun
Is your dog looking for more sniffing for fun? Enroll him or her in our Level 2 Sniffing for Fun Class and experience more challenging nose work activities and techniques. This class is great for all ages – even seniors!
Agility for Fun
Age 6+ months – Prerequisite PK or GM
This class is designed for dogs who know all of their basic commands with distractions. Help your dog learn off-leash commands while they maneuver through obstacle courses. Class meets once a week for six weeks
Agility for Fun – Level 2
Age 6+ months – Prerequisite PK or GM and Agility for Fun
Is your dog eager to learn more agility techniques? Enroll him or her in our Level 2 Agility for Fun class for hours of fun!
