Pet Behavior Care
Overview
Behavior problems are one of the most common reasons for a disruption in the human-animal bond and are one of the most common reasons that people surrender their animal to a shelter. The staff at the Animal Rescue League of Boston’s Pet Behavior Care Department (PBC) focus on helping people who are dealing with pet behavior problems. They offer personalized behavioral therapy programs to help owners understand and modify their pet’s behavior so that a healthy human-animal bond can be formed and preserved.
PBC provides clients with the tools to enhance all aspects of pet behavioral well-being. This includes using dog training and puppy classes as preventatives to behavioral disorders, as well as private behavioral consultations to evaluate, diagnose and treat more serious behavior issues.
