Dancer and Prancer are getting lots of love and attention in their dedicated foster home during their recovery!

Inspired by the recent case of two Chihuahuas who were discovered locked in a rabbit cage in a closet, ARL president Mary Nee donated $5000 to help improve the protection and treatment of animals in our state — and called on YOU to do the same!

Now named Dancer and Prancer, the two dogs were starving and emaciated when local authorities found them.  They had been left for over a week without food or water.

The ARL covered their medical expenses and they are currently in a foster home.

After all they have been through, these two sweet dogs are not only regaining their strength, but also showing their sweet and spunky personalities.

They are not currently available for adoption as they are still recovering.
