City of Boston Low-Cost Rabies Clinic

BCYF Pino Community Center 86 Boardman St, East Boston, MA, United States

The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) is teaming up with the City of Boston to provide low-cost rabies vaccines on Saturday, April 20 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the BCYF Pino Community Center location located at 86 Boardman St, East Boston, MA. This clinic is first come, first served, no appointments are needed. Space is limited.  Rabies Vaccine Fees Boston residents: $5 Boston residents over the age of 70: $2 Non-residents: $10 Dog Licensing Fees Dog Licensing will also be available onsite. All pets must be accompanied by a person 18 years or older and on a leash or in a carrier. $15

Jr’s Paws For a Cause

Join us at the 7th annual Jr's Paws For a Cause on Sunday, April 28, from 9:30 AM-11:30 AM at Natick High School!  Jr's Paws For a Cause is a dog-friendly 5k run/walk for participants of all ages. Lobby Day for Animals

On Tuesday, April 30, from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, join advocates, legislators, and animal protection organizations at Lobby Day for Animals to give a voice to the voiceless and help animals in the Commonwealth! Lobby Day will be held in the Great Hall in the State House, located behind the Grand Staircase. There is a charge of $15 for breakfast, lunch, a special Lobby Day branded surprise, and to help offset costs to attend Lobby Day. Please email ablanck@arlboston.org if you would like to attend, but the cost would be a hardship. We have a scholarship program to help. Lobby Day registration will close

Keep Pets F.E.D. Food Drive

The Keep Pets S.A.F.E. (Supporting Animals and Families Everyday), program was launched three years ago to help keep pets with their families during emergencies, with services that include a pet food pantry. The need is greater than ever. The number of pet meals we provided to the community last year increased by more than 20% and we have already received more than 100 calls to our hotline this year. Our resources have been pushed to the limit and we urgently need your help to Keep Pets F.E.D. (Full Every Day). We are in need of: Dry cat food (13+ lb bags)

Brewster Rabies & Microchip Clinic

The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) will be hosting a rabies vaccine and microchip clinic on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 10:00am-1:00pm at ARL’s Brewster campus, 3981 Main St (Rte 6A), East Brewster. No appointments are needed, walk-ins are welcome. All dogs must be leashed, all cats must be inside pet carriers, and aggressive dogs must be muzzled. All dogs must be under owner/keeper control. Free for Brewster residents $10 rabies vaccine for non-residents $10 microchips for all attendees

The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) and the Town of Dedham will be hosting a rabies vaccine and microchip clinic on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 10:00am-1:00pm at ARL's Dedham Administrative Building, 10 Anna’s Pl. No appointments are needed, walk-ins are welcome. 2024 Dedham Dog Licensing will also be available on-site (rabies certificate required for licensing). All dogs must be leashed, all cats must be inside pet carriers, and aggressive dogs must be muzzled. All dogs must be under owner/keeper control. Free for Dedham residents $10 rabies vaccine for non-residents $10 microchips for all attendees

Dogs in the Province Lands Book Launch Party

Join us to celebrate the launch of the Dogs in the Province Lands coffee table book! Join us on June 9 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at the Governor Bradford in Provincetown for a book launch party and book signing. Dogs in the Province Lands is a lavishly illustrated coffee table book, authored by Kim Roderiques, a long-time Cape Cod resident and ARL volunteer. The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) is teaming up with the City of Boston to provide low-cost rabies vaccines on Saturday, June 15 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the BCYF Tobin Community Center location located at 1481 Tremont St, Roxbury, MA. This clinic is first come, first served, no appointments are needed. Space is limited.  Rabies Vaccine Fees The rabies vaccine is free for Boston and non-Boston residents. Dog Licensing Fees Dog Licensing will also be available onsite. All pets must be accompanied by a person 18 years or older and on a leash or in a carrier. $15 spayed/neutered (please provide proof)
