SUMMARY:Clear the Shelters
DESCRIPTION:The Animal Rescue League of Boston’s (ARL) Animal Care & Adoption Center locations in Boston\, Cape Cod (Brewster)\, and Dedham will be participating in NBC’s annual Clear the Shelters campaign to help promote pet adoption and donations. \nDuring the month of August\, adoption fees for small animals such as rabbits\, guinea pigs\, gerbils\, and parakeets will be waived\, and adoption fees for large adult dogs\, those one year or older that are over 40 lbs.\, will be reduced by $200.\n \nFor all animals available for adoption\, visit our Adopt a Pet page. \n \nAnimal Care & Adoption Center Hours:\nMondays & Holidays: Closed\nTuesdays: By appointment only from 1:00PM – 6:00PM\nWednesdays-Sundays: Open from 1:00PM – 6:00PM\n \nThe Boston Animal Care & Adoption Center remains open during construction. Beginning July 6\, the main entrance will be temporarily closed. Please follow posted signage to access the center through the designated entrance. \nDuring construction\, there is no parking available for visitors as our Tremont Street parking lot is closed. \nStreet parking is available and there are local parking garages including: \n\n109-123 Arlington Arlington Street Lot – Buy Parking\n38 Isabella – LAZ Parking | Reserve Parking Now | Best Parking Garages\n210 Columbus – LAZ Parking | Reserve Parking Now | Best Parking Garages\n\n\n\nARL’s Jeffs Fund helps offset the cost of waived or reduced adoption fees to help animals who may be overlooked due to their medical needs\, age\, or personality find the homes they deserve. The Fund also supports impactful adoption events like Clear the Shelters\, helping even more animals get home.
