DESCRIPTION:The Kraft family and the Patriots Foundation are excited to launch the Pawtriots Pet Adoption “TailGate” and Watch Party\, taking place on Sunday\, October 19 in the Patriot Place Plaza. Starting at 11:30 a.m.\, fans are invited to come to the Patriot Place Plaza where the Animal Rescue League of Boston and other animal organizations will be on-site with adoptable dogs. \nFans are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs\, and stay in the plaza to enjoy a watch party for the Patriots vs. Tennessee Titans game kicking off at 1 p.m.! To add to the fun\, Patriots alumni Brian Hoyer and David Andrews\, Patriots cheerleaders\, and Pat Patriot will be in the Plaza during pregame to meet fans and help families find their new pet. Food trucks\, games\, music\, face painting and more fun activities will be on site for a free\, family-friendly day of fun. \nIn addition\, the Patriots are inviting fans to bring pet food\, pet toys\, collars and leashes to donate and support dogs in need. The Pops was created in 1885 as the “light classical” summer season venture of the Boston Symphony. The Boston Pops Orchestra reached its current iconic status during the 50-year tenure of the legendary Arthur Fiedler\, who was succeeded in 1980 by the equally renowned film composer John Williams. Keith Lockhart took the helm in 1995. It was Fiedler who started the tradition of Pops performances on the Charles River Esplanade\, including the annual Fourth of July celebration\, brought the Pops to television with Evening at Pops (1970-2004)\, and initiated Holiday Pops\, which marked its 50th anniversary in 2023. Fiedler welcomed to our stages dynamic\, world-class guest artists including Ella Fitzgerald\, Dizzy Gillespie\, Julia Child\, and Bob Hope. That tradition continues today with Keith Lockhart working with such stars as Brian Stokes Mitchell\, The B-52s\, Chaka Khan\, Nick Jonas\, and Rhiannon Giddens. With the Pops\, Keith has made 81 television shows\, led 45 national and 5 overseas tours\, led the Pops at several high-profile sporting events including the Super Bowl\, and recorded fourteen albums. Through it all the orchestra has remained of the most recorded\, familiar\, and beloved ensembles in the world today.

DESCRIPTION:The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) is partnering with Boston Animal Control to offer low-cost rabies vaccinations and licensing on Saturday\, March 28\, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. \nJoin us at 10 Chandler Street and look for the ARL’s Wellness Waggin’®. \n \nPlease plan to use on-street parking or a nearby garage. Please note\, three-year rabies vaccines will be given if you are able to show proof of previous rabies vaccines. All pets must be accompanied by a person 18 years or older and on a leash or in a carrier. \nRabies Vaccine Fees (cats and dogs) \n\nBoston Residents: $5\nResidents over 70: $2\nNon-resident: $10\n\nDog Licensing Fees \n\n$15 for spayed and neutered pets (please provide proof)\n$30 for intact males and females\nFor seniors residents over 70\, there is no charge to license their pets.
