The Dedham shelter is located on 27-acres approximately 10 miles southwest of Boston. Along with housing and adopting small animals, this site serves as a livestock rehabilitation center for large animals.
All adoptable animals receive a medical evaluation from our shelter veterinary medicine team, vaccines,
and spay/neuter services.
The ARL’s Pine Ridge Cemetery is also located in Dedham. The Cemetery is the oldest continuously operated pet cemetery by a humane society in the United States.
