We provide high-quality, personalized care for unwanted and homeless animals, as well as special care for animals at different life stages. Often the animals that come to us are perfectly healthy and wonderful pets whose owners have come upon hard times. Other animals are in need of significant care and rehabilitation before becoming available for adoption.
Surrender: If you or a loved one needs to give up a pet, please visit our surrender page to learn more about that process.
Adopt at a shelter near you: We operate three shelters in Boston, Dedham and Brewster. If you are considering adding an animal companion to enrich your life, please visit our adoption page.
Foster : Sometimes, animals in need of TLC will go to foster homes. These might be kittens or puppies too young to do well in the animal shelter environment, an animal in need of a more lengthy recovery period from surgery or one needing to learn some manners through training in the home environment. If you have room in your heart and home, you can help us expand our services and save more animals!
Burial: Final care is a sensitive and important time in the life of a family pet. The Pine Ridge Cemetery in Dedham is where we provide both burial and cremation services. Additionally, the grounds are a beautifully kept, serene place to visit and tour the historical section for a glimpse into the duration and depth of the human-animal bond.
