ARL is an independent non-profit 501(c)3 organization. You can be confident that your gift will have a big impact for animals because ARL receives no government grants or public funding – individuals, community partners, and sponsors like you are the driving force behind all we do to help animals.

3. The need remains great

Since 1899, ARL has responded to the needs of animals and supported a community in which animals are protected, safe, and healthy – in homes and out of shelters.

There are many accomplishments to celebrate in the past 127 years but this work is more important than ever.

Our animal population has changed and the animals in our care need more time and resources than ever before. At the same time, economic stress and the housing crisis are separating people from their pets due to cost of care, lack of access, and limited support.

Paws to Celebrate Chatham and Truro

Paws to Celebrate

Each year, ARL celebrates our most philanthropic supporters at the Paws to Celebrate events. We gather to highlight the important welfare milestones achieved in the last year.

Attendees include members of the local community who represent business, philanthropic, and community leaders who care deeply for animals. We expect between 100 – 140 guests to attend in-person at each event and will be offering a live-stream for virtual attendees.
