Pine Ridge Pet Cemetery

Due to the unexpected loss of our beloved cemetery caretaker, Mike Thomas, our Pine Ridge Pet Cemetery services will be temporarily suspended. For questions and information regarding other burial or cremation resources, please contact us at (617) 226-5652 or We thank you for your understanding and patience.

Final care is a sensitive and important time in the life of a family pet.  The Pine Ridge Cemetery, located next to the League’s Dedham Shelter at 55 Anna’s Place in Dedham, MA, is where we provide both burial and cremation services.  The grounds are a beautifully kept, serene place to visit and tour the historical section for a glimpse into the duration and depth of the human-animal bond.

It is also the oldest pet cemetery in the country that is owned and operated by an animal welfare agency. Pine Ridge’s historical section contains burials dating back to the early 1900’s!
