Annual Doggone Halloween Hosted by Downtown Boston Alliance

Celebrate Halloween with your pup at one of Boston’s favorite seasonal traditions! The Downtown Boston Alliance is hosting its annual Halloween Dog Costume Parade in Downtown Crossing, featuring plenty of festive fun for dogs and their people.

Enjoy the dog-themed Poochapalooza Zone, a photo booth, face painting, free treats, and more. Costumed pups can also compete for grand prizes in several categories, including Best Costume, Cutest Costume, Scariest Costume, Best Dog and Human Duo, and Best Dog and Child Duo.

Registration opens October 1, 2026.
