The Keep Pets S.A.F.E (Supporting Animals Facing Emergencies), program was launched more than two years ago to help keep pets with their families during emergencies, with services such as pet food and supplies, available to qualified residents of Dorchester, Roxbury, and Mattapan. Since the launch more than 360,000 meals have been delivered to pets and more than 1,260 pets and families have been assisted. A documentary by Geoff Bassett and Kim Roderiques, generously funded by Rockland Trust.
