Keep Pets S.A.F.E. Pet Food Pantry

The Keep Pets S.A.F.E (Supporting Animals Facing Emergencies), program was launched more than two years ago to help keep pets with their families during emergencies, with services such as pet food and supplies, available to qualified residents of Dorchester, Roxbury, and Mattapan. Since the launch more than 360,000 meals have been delivered to pets and more than 1,260 pets and families have been assisted. An Afternoon With The Animal Rescue League of Boston

Join Dr. Edward Schettino, the Animal Rescue League of Boston's (ARL) President & CEO; Dr. Nicole Breda, Director of Veterinary Medicine; and Dr. Markeya Williams, Lead Veterinarian at Boston Veterinary Care on Tuesday, August 16, from 3:00pm-4:00pm for a special afternoon at the Brookline Public Library. The program will include: An overview of ARL and its history ARL's community and shelter medicine programs A special Q&A session Potential opportunity to meet some four-legged friends! The Way Home Screening

Chatham Orpheum Theater 637 Main St, Chatham, MA

Join us at the Chatham Orpheum Theatre on Thursday, August 18, at 7:00pm, for a screening of The Way Home, a Century of Finding Loving Companions for Shelter Animals. A documentary by Geoff Bassett and Kim Roderiques, generously funded by Rockland Trust. Following the film will be a panel discussion about the human/animal bond, moderated by Joseph Carr, Founder/Vintner Joseph Carr Winery Napa Valley California; Philanthropist to animal welfare. Paws to Celebrate Truro

Truro Vineyards 11 Shore Rd, North Truro, MA

Join the Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) on Thursday, September 15, from 6PM - 8PM on the beautiful grounds of Truro Vineyards as we celebrate the achievements in animal welfare made possible by our Cape community! The event will include refreshments from Blackfish, a sampling of Truro Vineyard wines, and live entertainment from American Idol contestant Natalia Bonfini. This event is sold out!  

City of Boston Free Rabies Clinic

Animal Rescue League of Boston - Boston location 10 Chandler St, Boston, MA

The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) is teaming up with the City of Boston to provide no-cost rabies vaccines to Boston residents on Saturday, September 17 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the ARL's Boston Animal Care & Adoption Center located at 10 Chandler St. This clinic is first come, first served, no appointments are needed. Space is limited.  No-cost Available Services Rabies Distemper Microchip Dog Licensing will also be available onsite. All pets must be accompanied by a person 18 years or older and on a leash or in a carrier.

Art for Animals

Gallery Antonia 1291 Main St, Chatham

Come enjoy an evening of fine art, light refreshments, and wine, on Friday, September 30, from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Gallery Antonia in beautiful Chatham, MA! Admission to this event is free. Attendees will have the opportunity to browse and purchase artwork by local artists including: Turquoise Waters by Kim Roderiques Inspired at The Long Pasture Audubon by Ann Hart Looking out on Wellfleet Bay  by Virginia (Ginny) Nickerson Cat & Pumpkin Surprise by William Davis A portion of the artwork’s proceeds will benefit animals at the Animal Rescue League of Boston’s Brewster Animal Care & Adoption Center.

Participating in Bone Up Brewing Company’s Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest

Bone Up Brewing Company 38 Norman Street, ​Everett, MA

Our animal-loving friends at Bone Up Brewing Company will be hosting a Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest on Saturday, 10/22 and Sunday 10/23 from 12:00pm-4:00pm at their beer garden (38 Norman Street, ​Everett, MA). The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) team will be at the event on Sunday from 12:00pm-3:00pm providing information on how to volunteer and foster at ARL and the potential to meet some ARL adoptable dogs. Join us at the Boston Public Library's Codman Square Branch for a new series "The Fun and Exciting World of Working with Animals". Each month, our team will be onsite discussing a fun animal-themed topic. January's talk is "Amazing Animal Rescues" with our Field Services team. For children ages 6-9, no registration required. Cape Cod Bloodmobile Drive

Animal Rescue League of Boston-Brewster location 3981 Main St (Rte 6A), East Brewster, MA

Cape Cod Healthcare's Bloodmobile will be at the Animal Rescue League of Boston's Brewster Animal Care & Adoption Center on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Appointments are required and can be made on their website. Cape Cod Healthcare will be offering Stop & Shop gift cards to all donors.
