Pet Adoption Night at Boston Children’s Museum

Join us at Boston Children’s Museum for a special Pet Adoption Night on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM! Meet adoptable animals, chat with shelter volunteers and representatives from local rescue organizations, create custom pet bandanas, and learn how you can take the first step toward welcoming a new furry friend into your home. Tickets are $25 and available on the Boston Children’s Museum event page. A portion of the proceeds will support the Animal Rescue League of Boston and other participating shelters.

ARL is happy to announce that we have been selected as a recipient of the Buffalo Exchange Tokens for Bags® program from July through December 2025. You can now support ARL just by shopping at Buffalo Exchange in Somerville and in Brookline. Instead of a plastic bag, the Tokens for Bags® program offers every customer who makes a purchase one “token” valued at five cents (the cost to produce a bag) to donate to one of several local charities selected by the store. Adopt a Dog at Patriots Training Camp To kick off Patriots Training Camp on July 23, Heisman Kraft invites all fans to meet and adopt their Patriots Canine Companions. The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) will be one of three animal shelters on-site, featuring dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes for fans to meet and sign up to adopt. A huge thank you to the Kraft Family and the New England Patriots for their support and passion in giving dogs and pets a chance to find loving homes! Protect Animals from Rodenticide Lobby Day

Take action! Join us for the Protect Animals from Rodenticide Lobby Day on July 24 It’s time to speak in one strong voice to our legislators – telling them to stop the use of anticoagulant rodenticides in MA!  Join small groups advocating with your elected officials to support An Act Restricting the Use of Rodenticides in the Environment (H965/S644). It will be a fun day starting with a Kick-Off Forum meeting the Red-tailed Hawk “Falco” from the New England Wildlife Center. Then, there will be a Meet & Greet Exhibition with legislators visiting tables hosted by community groups from across the state.
